Since  returning  to  its  motherland  China  in  1997,  Hong  Kong  remains  a  key  commercial  and  financial  services  metropolis  in  Asia.  Though  life  is  a  rat  race packed  into  limited  land  space  in  the  city  centre  and  outskirts,  Hong  Kong  residents  do  find  time  for  cultural  pursuits.  For  the  visitor,  there  are  great  opportunities  for  trying  every  kind  of  Cantonese  delicacies  and  shopping  from  side  streets  to  upmarket  venues.

or  ‘Little  Fragrant  Harbour’.
 
Remaining  mobile  homes  of  the  dwindling  ‘boat  people’  community
