Juizhaigou  or  ‘Nine  Villages  Valley’  is  a  place  made  for  dreams.  It  is  called  ‘fairyland’  and  the  Tibetan  folks  who  live  here  tell  of  romantic  tales  of  gods  and  fairies.  It  is  another  geological  wonder  in  the  valley  within  the  Min  mountains  similar  in  formation  to  Huanglong  but  on  a  much  larger  and  varied  scale.  It  is  covered  with   lush  forests  studded  with  colourful  crystal  clear  lakes,  drained  by  sparkling  shoals  and  rivers  and  decorated  by  stunning  white  curtains  of  waterfalls.

Undoubtedly,  this  vast  and  amazingly  beautiful  nature  reserve  has  also  been  included  in  UNESCO  World  Heritage  List  in  1992  together  with  Huanglong.

them  bejewels  the  dense  forests.
