Cheju  Island  is  equated  to  Bali  and  Hawaii  by  local  Koreans  for  its  similar  volcanic  landscape,  off  shore  waters  of  aquamarine  hue  and  romantic  appeal.  It  is  often  referred  to  as  ‘Korea’s  Hawaii’  and  ‘Honeymoon  Island’.  It  is  an  island  of  rugged  coastline  to  fine  beaches,  clean  rivers  and  waterfalls,  lava  caves  and  extinct  volcanoes  offering  great  views  and  a  rich  cultural  history.
