Adelaide  is  often  described  as  the  ‘city  in  the  park’  and  45%  of  the  city  area  is  parkland  with  a  green  moat  completely  surrounding  the  city.                                                         

Veale  Gardens  has  many  interesting  features  including  a  rose  garden,  stream,  grassy  mounds  covered  by  groves  of  trees  and  shrubs.  In  summer,  the  blooms  are  just  splendid.
