The small number of Tibetan folks in this remote part of the world live life like a fairytale - simple ceremonious life centred around religious rituals and their faithfulness to the gods and spirits. Until the advent of outsiders like geologists, explorers and tourists, their world in this lush forested valley nestled in the snow capped Minshan mountains had been relatively peaceful and unperturbed.
They ride on horsebacks and trek on nature friendly trails in their colourful outfits. Their principle religion is Buddhism but a distinctively different branch of Buddhism unique only to them. |
